Career Choices
Got off from work earlier today. Boy oh boy how fast 9 days goes by. 
Well you may be wondering what is so significant about the 9 days. That is our work cycle. You see, we work 9 days straight, then we get 6 days straight off. I know, it’s quite nice having a schedule such as that. It’s as if you are on vacation twice a month..hehe..semi retired I call it. I should already be heading for home after I got off work but a co-worker of mine has asked me to cover him for his duty tomorrow, so I guess I’m gonna be extended for 2 more days. The setup is still fine by me, as during the next cycle, I’d be having 8 consecutive days off instead of the 6. I should start planning our summer getaway with Borski.
Anyway, I spent the most of the afternoon window shopping at the mall today. It was there I met a cousin of mine, who I haven’t seen in about 5 years or so. I learned that he was already working in one of the local hospitals in Bacolod as a pharmacy technician. That was good news and I was quite expecting that he would take that up as a career choice as early on, he had already mentioned that he planned on being a pharmacy tech because he was motivated by the considerable pharmacy technician salary that would be available to someone who would be in that field. Anyway, we updated mobile numbers and agreed to meet up some other time to really catch up.
