Cory Aquino, the ‘Democracy Icon’, dies at 76

Former President Corazon C. Aquino, known as ‘Cory’ to millions of Filipinos, exhaled her last breath at 3:18 AM on August 01, 2009 (Saturday) at the Makati Medical Center, Philippines.
