Cars like dominoes
As many of you may have known, during the aftermath of Typhoon Ondoy last September, scenes such as the one above were common all over Metro Manila, most especially in the Marikina area. What is particularly saddening about the picture is that most of the owners of the vehicles did not have auto insurance that covered natural calamities or what would be called as “Act of God Insurance”. In hindsight, however, one could not even entertain the possibility of such a thing happening.
Oh well, another lesson learned….the hard way.
