Getting a Physical
Our company is pretty generous when speaking of benefits. Part of these benefits include the annual medical check up that we have. I think I will be availing of this early this year. I also have another health plan with Caritas and part of this health plan includes an annual medical check up too. So in a way, I can avail of 2 free annual medical checks each year. Cool isn’t it?
Anyways, from what I remember from my last physical, I had a complete blood work up, as well as a dental, urinalysis, fecalysis, and then off to the x-ray technician for the x-rays. Actually, there were two (2) x-ray technicians inside the room. Now, I have always been curious as to what course one has to take up to become an x ray technician, so I didn’t resist the urge to ask the attending xray technician where he finished his studies. Whereupon, he told me that he finished his studies in Cebu, but that he always checked upon new updates on the online xray technician information site.
We were quite caught up in the conversation that he almost forgot to ask me to remove my necklace..oooopps. Good thing he remembered, or else I would’ve been asked by the xray technician to do it again.
