Trying oh so hard
Found this off of the Miami Herald.
Kira Kashie Brooks dreamed of becoming the next Miss USA.
But when she came up short on cash for the entry fee to the local pageant, the 22-year-old beauty didn’t look far to find a sponsor.
Her employer, the Coral Springs Police Department, unknowingly footed the bill for Brooks’ aspirations — along with nearly $5,000 of personal expenses the 5-foot-11 beauty put on her city credit card in 2006.
On Thursday, Brooks pleaded no contest to grand theft and was sentenced to three years’ probation — putting an end to her quest for fame and fortune.

Talk about trying so hard. I personally believe that each of us has to have his own goals in life, our own dreams, our own reason for living. I have read about it somewhere that a man without a goal in life, is someone who has no future. However, I guess this case would probably be classified as ‘having dreamt too much, and stupidly pursuing it.” She still has her future before her, for now, she has to learn her lesson. And I hope she does too.

Making BIG dreams for ourselves are not crimes, however, the Kira made a very huge mistake. I feel so sorry for her.
if there’s a will there’s a way… but too bad for her that she had to go the wrong way…
