Long(ish) hair no more
Nai had been sporting long(ish) hair again after his first stint of the same kind last 1999. Based on convention, the norm is for men to sport a short hair hairstyle. Then again, there are men who take the effort to maintain their long hair, for themselves, or for others. Although Nai’s hair is really not that long, I’m sure he wore his hair long for himself. I don’t know why he wanted to have that hairstyle when it doesn’t suit him. Unlike some other stars sporting a just-got-out-of-salon long hair, which suits the characters they play, his doesn’t complement his facial features and doesn’t go with his looks (he’s certainly not playing a character, too). His hair was curly and long at the nape, flat at the top, not to mention, it’s oily looking; for me, this gave me the impression that he had not taken a bath on that day or he just came from a badminton game.
Good thing I was able to convince him to get a haircut 3 days ago. Yippee, success! Mind you, a hotdog sandwich, spaghetti, French fries and mango shake did the trick! [Bribery has some advantages.] Really, he definitely looked more handsome, clean and neat with his cropped hair. I guess we must always keep in mind that hairstyles, together with the clothes and shoes we wear, also make up the basis of our style as individuals.
