Puffy Clusters Above Caticlan Island

Published by borski at 2:30 am under Photography

Puffy, cotton-like cumulus clouds in clusters above Caticlan, nearly 15 minutes away by pumpboat from the resort island Boracay.

This shot was taken when the 10AM flight Cebu Pacific aircraft was about to make a U-turn drop and eventually land to Caticlan five days after our wedding. Ian and I did not expect that the propellers will be visible in the picture when they were not through our naked eyes. :D

Borski: I moment in time as the propeller cuts through the sky. Those are some neat clouds above the land.

    Cool photo…
And you brought up a curious point with that propeller — what shutter speed are our eyes? (do you see what I’m talking about?)

    Thanks Fishing Guy and Donald!

Donald: I just looked the meaning of shutter speed up in the dictionary. :-) really need that photography basics class.

Beautiful clouds in the sky with the land and water just peeping through.

Lovely view from up above. Very neat to see the shadows of the clouds on the earth. This is a greeting from the Netherlands.
