Daily Happy Thoughts

Was tagged by Lena by this one. Took us a long time to do it, but here it goes:

As my way of expressing gratitude, let me just share with you this lil’ prayer taught by my dad since I was old enough to mimic him praying. I have learned this prayer by heart, and I still pray this prayer. I remember my mom asking me to recite this one time last year and I could almost see the twinkle in her eyes..I think what I saw was the look of pride in her eyes. Someday, I am going to teach our child the same.

Here it is:

Jesus I love you. Bless Daddy, Mommy, Ian, Ray, Clyde, Ellen, Andrew, and Tony. Make us good boys and make Ellen a good girl. Thank you for today, thank you for our good health, thank you for our graces, and thank you for keeping us safe every day and night. Regards to Mama Mary, St. Jude, St. Joseph and all the saints. Goodnight.
