I feel like strangling somebody!

Wheww!!

I am hoping to finish most of the tasks as early as possible as I have got a lot of things to attend to at the moment. I just came from the Barangay Hall of our place to report the crime that took place yesterday evening outside our apartment. It was as if all the life was sucked out of me yesterday, thinking of the nerve of the perpetrators of the crime. I just wish I could get my hands on them and strangle them with my bare hands!

You see, I came by our apartment around 8 p.m. yesterday to do some stuff online, while waiting for my brother Andrew to come home from a debut of a friend he attended. When he arrived at around 11:30 p.m., I then called him and my other brother Anthony to board our multicab, which was parked just beside the gate so that we could already go home as it was already late.

When I turned on the ignition, no response whatsoever. Just then, a wild thought entered my mind, and thinking out loud I said, “the battery has been stolen”. True enough, when I disembarked to check it out, it was. The criminals have been brazen enough to carry out things like this even as the place was not at all isolated. I say “criminals” because usually things like this are carried out not by a single person but he has to have a lookout, or someone on standby to make a quick getaway. I felt like strangling somebody at that point, or punching someone in the face. Grrrrrr! Having something stolen from you in a neutral place like in the city is one thing, but having it stolen right in front of your home is another thing. I kept cursing all throughout and I just wished I could get my hands on the necks of those who did this.

I have to go now as I have a scheduled blood workup in the hospital today, and I have to go to the police station to have this on their blotter. It’s mighty hard to concentrate on thinking happy thoughts on days like these….sigh..

  2. you know petty thieving is so rampant now. a few weeks back, someone entered our house and planned on taking our desk top. note that we were all in the house and the desk top is heavy an not really a breeze to steal.

the computer was not stolen because we head the magnanakaw.

  3. I know exactly how you feel right now.. When I was 8 months pregnant, a young man was trying to break into our home…My husband was at work that time, and he was terrified when I informed him, but he wanted so bad to punish that criminal…You see, case like this, (thieving ) is rampant everywhere, even here in the states.

  4. no, that particular culprit was not caught. however, because we’ve had a big share of thieving episodes, we were able to catch some. the adrenalin rush of catching one is incomparable!! lol

    true. quite dangerous
