Re-energized

To make money online, that is. :) I didn’t think it would happen, but I got tired of blogging last night. I could almost hear Borski telling me mentally, “Rest if we must,” which in a way is a comforting thought. Borski shared the same feeling as she sent me an SMS msg saying: “I am tired of everything atm.” I guess a good night’s sleep has done me good as I am energized and raring to go once more.

Yesterday was just too draining. I was tired from work, so I thought of doing some window shopping for a wireless router after I got off work. I finally strengthened my resolve to turn our place into a Wifi Hotspot after I learned that Borski’s SIL Kerslyn had already gone ahead and turned their place into a hotspot by installing a wireless router. Blogging indeed has become contagious. They have themselves a blogging hideout, and I am already looking forward to our next trip to Davao so that we can check out for ourselves this hotspot of theirs.

Anyway, as I was at Octagon, I found a Dlink 4-port wireless router which cost around PhP 2650 but I didn’t have enough cash on hand so I went to the nearest ATM machine to withdraw cash, only to discover that the machines weren’t cooperating. They were unable to transact with my LBP atm card. I guess it was not to be.

Now I am one of those people with spending idiosyncrasies. Let me explain. When I go window shopping, when I find anything that catches my fancy and when I don’t have enough money on hand, the trip to the ATM would be enough time for me to have second thoughts for me to change my decision or to mentally debate in my mind if I do really need the item I am withdrawing cash for. More often than not, I do not go through with the purchase. Yep, that’s me alright :) for better or for worse..haha.. But that’s not all. A twist on this trait of mine is the fact that if I have someone with me whom I can immediately borrow money from (especially if that someone agrees that I should go ahead with the purchase), I succumb to the urge hands down. That was what happened last Saturday with Borski. Had she not agreed to lend me the money, I wouldn’t have bought the new Hawk cybergear backpack that I am using now. I had set my eye on that for about a month now, always putting it off with that unique talent of mine. Thinking of this, I probably shouldn’t be allowed to get my hands on a credit card. LOL.

…and I have been eyeing a pair of black-and-red Reebok shoes on the shelf yesterday..hmmm..

Oh well, on to blogging and completing the tasks for the day..show me the money..yeah! :)
